The small print
Terms
These are the terms for using K9metrix. They are short on purpose. Each pilot kennel also signs a pilot agreement; where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
Who we are
K9metrix is made, sold and run by Snowdog Arctic Adventures AB, a Swedish limited company, org. no. 559489-8792, Haapalan Pekkas Väg 3, 981 92 Kiruna, Sweden ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@k9metrix.com.
Price
- Pilot kennels: free until 31 March 2027. No card, no invoice, and payments never start by themselves.
- Paid plans start in spring 2027. A paid plan is a new agreement that you are free to say no to.
- All invoices and payments go through Snowdog Arctic Adventures AB.
Your data is yours
- Your kennel owns its data: its dogs, rules, notes, teams, health records, GPS tracks and history.
- We keep it only to run the app for you. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for anyone else. Kennels cannot see each other's data.
- You can have a full copy at any time, and we send one automatically when you stop.
- How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.
If we stop
- You can download your own data from the app without asking us.
- The app on your phones keeps working without our server for teams, notes and health checks. Only syncing between phones stops.
- If Snowdog Arctic Adventures AB stops trading, or its founder dies or can no longer run K9metrix, every kennel using it gets, free of charge, a copy of the app's source code and a plain-words guide to running it on a rented server. The licence lets you run it for your own kennel and have anyone you choose look after it. It does not let you sell it or run it for other kennels.
- A named second person holds the keys needed to hand this over, and the server is paid ahead so nothing switches off while that happens.
The app is a tool, the musher decides
- K9metrix suggests teams, loads and warnings. You and your guides always decide which dogs run, how far, and with whom.
- It records health information. It does not diagnose. For a dog's health, ask your vet.
- During the pilot the app is given as it is. It may have faults and may sometimes be unavailable. We fix what we find as fast as we can.
- Because the pilot is free, our total liability is limited as set out in your pilot agreement, except where the law does not allow a limit.
Fair use
- Keep your logins to yourself and your crew. Tell us straight away if you think one has leaked.
- Do not try to reach another kennel's data, copy the app, or resell it.
- Please ask before you publish screenshots during the pilot. Talking about it with friends is fine.
Stopping
You or we can stop at any time, for any reason, by email. Nothing is owed. You still get your copy, and we delete your data on request as the privacy policy describes.
Changes and law
If we change these terms we will tell you by email before the change applies. Swedish law applies. Anything we cannot settle by talking goes to a Swedish court.
